Dada and Art History

I have this link on my blog simply because I was interested in doing my next class speech on it. I don't expect anyone to join me in learning about this particular art, but feel free to follow the link (above) and there's a list. Look for an art that you never heard about and increase your knowledge. :-)

Works of Wonder

Wonderful and mighty is He.

His Excellency amazes me.

What great works does He.

Each day He paints the sky.

Allows the Sun to rise,

and renews the breath of His people.

All day He gives strength,

and by His mercy,

He protects us.

A protector we may call Him.

Merciful and Strong I have known Him to be.

Breath of life He sent down from glory.

Warmth of sun He shines down upon us.

Beauty He makes to grow -above and below us.

All that He does is done excellently.

Oh, how wonderful and mighty is He that worketh wonders.

I created this image on "paint." I wanted to make something that would express my thoughts and feelings. I did it!I feel bubbly inside. When I think of all that God has done for me I feel so warm. That is why I used so many colors. God's work is never dull, so never should I be.

Earning My Wings

Some angels are messengers of God.
Some, I imagine, circle around Him singing praises.
I wonder if their wings glow,
How great it'd be for God to say, "My Angel, you do well. May your wings grow."
In my dreams, I walk, I feel I am destined to know....
I want to earn wings,
Dear Lord, I want to soar.
Having the gift to fly through your skies
Singing Hallelujah over the tides of oceans
Whispering "God loves you" by and by
Every lost soul I see,
Oh, Yes, My Lord. I will weep!
I will rejoice for those that give their hearts.
I will dance with those that praise.
I will sing as loud as my voice can carry,
My God, you rest in heaven;
but you miss nothing at all.
God hear me when I worship,
comfort me when I cry,
allow me the time I need to get better
may your mercy never die.
I pray to you with an open heart.
I want to earn my wings,
am I at a good start?
I'll do what it takes....
even if they're only surrounding my heart.
I want to make it into heaven!
I am pressing to earn Wings with you Lord!
In Jesus Name, I pray!

His Holy Humble Majesty

God is so Holy he declares that which is more holy than the next. I will gladly take off my shoes upon request, to be as close to the Lord as Moses had been. (Exo. 3:4,5)

^{2 Chronicles 7:14}  "If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land." How great is our God! That now he even sent Jesus to redeem our souls. (I feel a praise coming on!!)

Majesty!! Such power and sovereignty held in the palm of His hand.

His Holy, Humble Majesty!
