A Very Present Help

A motto I live by.
When times are tough sometimes we don't always want to ask for help. Maybe we don't want to let others know that we are in a hard place. We get caught up in the image we want to be; occupied instead on how things should be, we forget that we, too, could use a hand. How do we fix it? How do we keep going without putting our burdens on our loved ones? We don't always have to go anywhere or call anyone to find a solution. Why? This is why:
Even when our hands are full and it seems as if we need six more arms, we still have room to accept one thing that's bigger than all that we are carrying. All we have to do is pause! No, it will not hurt you --all the weight you are carrying, in truth, our weights will be lighter. So, pause. Next just inhale think of your issues. Inhale so deep that you feel the air in your chest. Then you exhale, thinking of all the pressure that will be released. Whisper your prayer to God and stamp it with the name of Jesus and an Amen. Inhale again with all sincerity, knowing that God has received your prayer. If you've done this correctly and you have faith and know that this is true, when you exhale you should feel that huge load of weight remove from you. Take your time. Everything will not be right if everything you do is a constant fight. Fight with the devil, but don't let him steal your joy. "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble" (Psalm 46:1). We are too blessed to be stressed.
